Our Founder, Sangeeta started her career as a software engineer in Silicon Valley, working for companies including IBM, Motorola/Google, and then developing first mobile video platform at a startup later acquired by Skype. While she achieved major professional success, her health started to affect and limit quality of her personal and professional life. In search of solutions to regain her full health, she started adopting, experimenting and learning various health care modalities. This led her needing more than taking medications and regular doctor visits, but moving beyond to focus on all aspects of her physical and emotional health.
She found her home in two key terms Quality of Life and Integrative Medicine. As she found ways to empower herself to be healthy and happy, she decided to devote her life to empowering everyone to living their best quality of life. She studied integrative medicine by studying, practicing and conducting research in both eastern and western medicine. She spent the next decade as a researcher, oncology nurse and integrative medicine practitioner at institutions including the Mayo Clinic, Stanford Cancer Center, and UCSF Cancer Center serving the community. She still found that most people continued to struggle with health and quality of life issues and access to such solutions was limited. Inspired to create a solution that can be accessible to all, Sangeeta created Helpsy, a platform that brings together health care experts from all evidence based health care modalities, researchers and health care centers to combine their efforts together to offer an all-in-one interdisciplinary health solution to treat all aspects of health. Our solution is ready to help everyone live their life to the fullest.
Good health is within your reach. We are here to empower you throughout your journey- By Sangeeta Agarawal
Our mission is to empower people to have the best health outcomes possible while living their life to the fullest. We want to bring together everyone on a single platform to enable this mission.
We like to describe our Values at Helpsy using the Heart, Head and Habit framework.
While Helpsy is focused on getting people to live their best quality of life, we believe that this should be enabled by using evidence-based modalities. Clinical evidence plays an important role in shaping our product starting from incorporating ranking of therapies in our search algorithm to assembling recommendations in our databases. In order to help expand the pipeline of research in integrative medicine, we are enabling practitioners to conduct their own research studies using our platform.
At the heart of our business is the goal to help people reach their peak performance or live their best quality of life. To achieve this goal, we believe that when people need treatment for a condition, it is often a multifaceted need. So we provide people with access to a licensed providers from different healing modalities to help them get the care they need to heal body and mind and achieve peak performance.
The habit we employ to bring the head and heart together is that of orchestration. We want to facilitate the emergence of a new healthcare ecosystem by connecting experts, patients and centers using our platform.
